Cotisso by Effetre

Irregular shaped glass blocks mainly used in fusion for glass blowing and fusing. Obtained by putting the molten glass inside bowls and leaving it cooling starting the breaking process, that creates the typical blocks known in Murano with the name of “cotisso”. The COE is usually 104 for Effetre Moretti but may vary in the Cotisso. It can also be broken in smaller pieces or used whole is mosaic. Partial heating can be used to round the sharp edges or to produce sectile. The pieces within the colour blend vary in size, colour and transparency.
