20mm: Foil Metallics
Foil backed crystal glass tiles are growing in popularity and are well suited for upmarket installations. Made from high quality float glass that is textured and hand-painted foil colors are first epoxy bonded onto the back. Afterwards, the finish is protected by the application of a hardwearing fusible material heat bonded in a linear kiln. The results are exceptional resistance to chipping and peeling when nipping these tiles. The firing of the tiles rounds and softens the edges for a lovely smooth surface. Each tile is 3/4 inch (20mm) square, 1/7 inch (4mm) thick, 1 sheet = 196 tiles and 1 square foot.
