Azalea Pink: 250g

This is an amazing find from the estate of a Belgian mosaic and glass artist. This collection of smalti dates back to the 1950's and 60's and was made in Delft, Noord Holland (long famous for its tiles) by a now defunct glass factory. Absolutely priceless and irreplaceable with the look and feel of Byzantine smalti that is centuries old. The cuts are very irregular more closely resembling Perdomo (Mexican smalti) and the B cuts of Ravenna. The colours are rich and intense. We have created a collection of colour mixes that we believe showcase the beauty of the glass while retaining value. Unfortunately we cannot get any more so when this is sold that's it. As they say in Holland 'Op is Op'!
