20mm square crystal tiles with a ripple texture on the back. Soft, textured pearlized color fused onto the back of crystal clear 4mm glass. The metallic coloured pigment is bonded to the back with epoxy and then a protective layer is fused to cover the pigment. The tile is opaque so that you look through the glass at the rich vivid colour giving depth and intensity. As these tiles are twice fired they have soft rounded edges and cut beautifully and cleanly with wheeled nippers. This was one of Maryland Mosaics bestsellers. Please remember that any tile with colour applied to the back is not UV stable in the long term and should only be used indoors.
