Cosmopolitan Vibes: 50g

Our Turkish Smalti is hand cut and is expected to have slight irregularities in size, shape and finish. This smalti is made from a combination of recycled and natural oxides and is easy to cut using a wheeled nipper and can be applied in direct, indirect or double indirect methods. This product looks more like Antique Byzantine smalti than modern Venetian smalti. The colour tends to be more muted and the finish is more grainy with a slight translucency. The colour may show variegation through the matrix. Use your glue of preference. Smalti can also be embedded in coloured thin-set to eliminate the need for grouting.
